GAWLER RANGES PROJECT

Explaining capture, delivery, costs, and usage of the Gawler Ranges project for Bikebox and Orbea.

Quick project re-cap:

  • Greyhound Media is conducting an assessment of the Gawler Ranges as a gravel bikepacking destination for the local government between March 20 and 26. The trip involves exploration, trail mapping, and submitting a final report on proceeding with further investment in bike infrastructure and promotion.

  • The trip provides Bikebox’s family of brands and Orbea with an opportunity to invest in content from a unique area that aligns with narratives of exploration, adventure, ruggedness, and the Australian outback aesthetic.

  • Time will be allocated to photographing participating brands’ products during the trip with delivery on trip completion.

Cost structure

A minimum commitment from brand stakeholders is needed to progress with the shooting, editing, and delivery of still images. Commitment from both parties locks in the price below.

Cost: 30 AUD per image for digital usage across social media, web platforms, and EDMs for 12 months. Images can only be given to third parties with prior negotiation, and there may be additional costs for usage.

Minimum quantities:

  • Bikebox: 30 images minimum covering Orbea, Schwalbe, and Exposure brands.

  • Orbea USA: 10 images minimum.

Imagery will mix landscape, lifestyle, and dedicated product shots. Participants are welcome to request specific shot-types and scenes too. See the gallery below for examples of prior work.

Greyhound Media will set up a self-service gallery where Bikebox and Orbea choose their own assets and self-checkout all payments and invoices included. Purchased files are emailed to the purchaser and the gallery will stay accessible for future purchases. Each party buys and uses independently but the final per-image cost is reduced due to the common Orbea brand.
